This collection includes thirty-seven unique Cyrillic editions of the 17th-18th centuries, which are currently bibliographically rare. Most of the books are liturgical literature published by the Lviv Dormition Brotherhood. Also, thirteen editions come from other publishers in Kyiv, Pochaїv, Unēv, and Lviv. The collection consists of Ukrainian liturgical books used in the Orthodox Eastern Church and the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church at that time. These Cyrillic editions represent printing history in Ukraine and the peculiarities of local cultural and church traditions. The books have unique marginal notes, old bindings with decoration, illustrations in the text, and handwritten fragments.
