Description
  • Service opens with 15 minutes of singing. Graham speaks on Mark 10:17ff and the question 'what must I do to inherit eternal life?'. He compares the search for meaning in this man with the search for meaning faced by young people in America and Singapore. Graham explains what it means for God to dwell with us in the person of Jesus. He explains that Jesus has conquered death on the cross, and calls on the young people to accept Christ and know him for himself. Graham gives examples of young men who chose to follow God. He then speaks against materialism, stressing that money does not satisfy when exploring the desire of the man asking how to inherit eternal life. Graham explains that we receive eternal life when we receive Christ. He looks at some of the things that stop people coming to Christ, including pride and works. Graham stresses that Christ must be first in all aspects of life, surrendering everything to him. He calls on the audience to surrender to Christ.
