Description
  • McDonald provides an overview of the Bible to place Jonah in it's historical and Biblical context. He explores the coming of the word of God in the latter prophets. McDonald asks the question : what happens when God speaks? He explores other references to Jonah to show the historicity of Jonah. McDonald explores the contrast in the responses between Jonah and the sailors. McDonald highlights what we can learn about God, especially that he speaks to us that he is relational, and that he is God over all. He reminds his listeners that the Word of God is not someone to run from, but one to turn to. Cassette label reads : "Jonah. Talk 1. Jonah 1:1-16 You can run but you can't hide.
