White wooden church with steeple - side view. Printed caption - Barrington Congregational Church and Church House. Known as the "White Church". The Church was organized in 1717 when the town was incorporated. Present church was erected in 1806, with much of the "frame and form of the Old Meeting House, built on same lot in 1737, mainly preserved."
