  • "White Dove of the Desert" -- This old Spanish architectural gem stands gleaming white on the desert 10 miles south of Tucson, Arizona. Established by Father Kino in 1692, it is in use today, where the Franciscan padres hold regular services for the Papago Indians, direct descendants of those for whom the Mission was built
