Description
  • Interior of St. Paul's Episcopal Church built in 1739 on the site of an earlier church (1641). The present structure is the only survivor of the shelling of Norfolk (January 1, 1776) by Governor Dunmore's British fleet. A cannonball from that attack is still embedded inthe wall.
