- According to the document, "Plaintiff [Edney Pruett] states in the presence of the defandent [Elijah Peters] that he got her with child about the 13 of April in 1851[.] She states that he had frequent intercours with her and also the defendant states that the first time he had any thing to do with her was sum tim in May 1851 and Judgement is that we beleave the defendant is guilty of the charge."
