  • Terra-cotta oil lamp, 3rd-4th century C.E. Provenance: Syro-Palestinian. Double ring on rim of fill hole. Rope pattern with design surrounding fill hole. Pine cones and rope on rim. Small handle. Rim separated from nozzle and wick hole by rope. Pine cones or palm branches used as cross on nozzle. Raised single ring on base. Condition: very fine. 8.1 cm length, 3.0 height. JPG file (98.9 KB).
