Description
  • The statue of Our Lady of Martyrs, a wood carving of heroic size, depicts Our Lady of Sorrows holding in her hands the empty shroud of her crucified Son. It rests on the high altar just behind the mammoth crucifix. Both are the work of Frank Feigeler of Cairo, N. Y., who also carved the statues of the Martyrs surrounding the main altar.
