  • Zion Lutheran Church, Spring City, Pa. was founded in 1743 by Rev. Henry M. Muhlenberg. The second Church built in 1775 was used as a hospital by General Washington in winter of 1777-78. The third church was renovated in 1972, with an addition as pictured. The Tannenberg Organ, installed in 1791 is still used.
