  • Reverend Chris Chua, interviewed for the OCF Heritage Project, shares his journey from Sibu, Sarawak, Malaysia, to Sydney in 1971. A former atheist, he converted to Christianity through Lim Kim Bew, Judy, and missionaries like Mr. and Mrs. Norgate. He became involved in Overseas Christian Fellowship (OCF) and later served as Honorary General Secretary (1979) and OCF Australia EXCO Chair (1976-77, 1981). He focused on biblical training, leadership development, and doctrinal integrity. Later, he became a pastor at Chinese Christian Church (CCC), where he ministered to Mandarin-speaking migrants, East Timorese, Hong Kongers, and mainland Chinese refugees.
