- Interview of Lizette Van Gelder Mitchell on November 18, 1985. The interview was conducted by Sharon Lewellyn. Born in Holland, Lizette Van Gelder Mitchell was an English professor at Howard College from 1944 until 1953. In the interview, Mitchell discusses Major Harwell G. Davis's influence on her coming to Howard, and her many experiences as a faculty member at Howard College.
