• Shead talks on the end of Ecclessiastes - chapters 11 and 12. He looks at the broad structure of the two chapters. Chapter 11:1-6 Chapter 11:7-12:14 We don't know what will happen, thus we need to prepare for all possibilities. We can't work out how God works, so there is no point pondering it, better to get on with life. We need shrewdness to take advantage of God's generosity. Reading of chapter 12 as a struggle with aging heading towards death. Shead suggests that the main effect should be evocative. He encourages the reader to remember in the pride of their youth that they are just a creature, and thus should look to their creator.
