  • Waddy shares her story in going, staying, leaving and coming back from Groote Eylandt. She looks at the encouragement of having others come to serve with, both in person and over the phone. She explains the things that she was involved with, and her plans for when she returns to Sydney. Newmarch shares he story of going and staying in Pakistan. She speaks on the work being done at Marie Christian School, including the need for long-term staff. Clark briefly gives an account of their time of going, staying and leaving in Hong Kong. He puts out a call for people interested in going back in a group to Hong Kong. Clark explains both the advantages and disadvantages of those in their 'prime timers ' (older adults) going out onto the field. Talk is followed by questions.
