  • Lewers explores our future, as a look past death. He shows that death is just, because of sin, and that by responding to Christ life can continue into eternal life. 1. Jesus frees us from the fear of death. 2. Death no longer posesses us, we are in possession of it. 3. Christ is/was physically alive 4. Firstfruits - trust God that the rest are coming, and that Christ is the firstfruits of resurrections. 5. Continuity as transformation takes place - life is consistent with the seed that is sown. 6. Discuss death and the glory of the Kingdom of heaven 7. Lewers looks at what we know about heaven, and how this should change us now.
