Description
  • As seen from New Orleans' Jackson Square. The St. Louis Cathedral, one of the most noted landmarks in North America, was erected in 1794. The Jackson Monument, unveiled in 1856, is outstanding in that the sculptor struck a perfect balance, and the entire weight of the statue rests only on the hind legs of the horse.
