Description
  • Stewart uses packing for a holiday as an analogy for the Christian life. He challenges his listeners to count the cost of following Jesus, to choose to follow Jesus in every area of their lives, because in Jesus we find life. Stewart explores the cost for Jesus from Luke 14 and 15. Stewart looks at the parables in these passages which show God's generosity and the free invitation of grace. Jesus must come above every other relationship. He encourages his listeners to stop and think before they make a committment and stresses that people must be given information, and told the gospel before called for committment. Cassette label reads: "429401 Alan Stewart Luke 14-15 Counting the cost focus tapes Church Camp, May 6-8 1994".
