- Jensen explores the Christian experience and it's connection to the doctrine of assurance. He shows that the Spirit is received by faith and not by works, including a focus on the law, as well as how different parts of society put barriers up when everyone is actually equal under Christ. Jensen stresses that the work of the Holy Spirit is to enable us to see Jesus and respond to him as Lord and God as Father. He explains that it is in this relationship that we find freedom. Jensen examines what it means to be holy, and how this plays out in the fruit of the Spirit. He warns against going to back to works.
