Chew Kim Yong, interviewed for the OCF Heritage Project, shares his journey from Pontian, Malaysia, to Adelaide in 1979, where he studied architecture. A Christian convert in 1977, he faced family opposition but grew spiritually through Overseas Christian Fellowship (OCF). He served as Vice President of OCF Adelaide and later OCF Australia Chair (1986-1987), overseeing challenges like the charismatic movement and drafting OCF’s handbook. Influenced by Reverend Neville Tan, Barry Chant, and Geoff Bingham, he helped establish Bible study structures and led evangelistic efforts, including the Victor Harbor convention and Easter camps. His leadership saw OCF Adelaide's growth, outreach events, and discipleship programs, strengthening students' faith before they returned home. Kim Yong Chew was on EXEC in 1987 Series title : Overseas Christian Fellowship Heritage Oral Histories
