Description
  • Howard speaks on Revelation 2:8-11. He explains the geographic and historical context. He explains the pressure/challenge imposed on us by the scriptures, and yet it's power to save and change people. Howard explains the use of the term 'poverty'. He shows that there are people in our churches who do not know Christ, and thus are not willing to suffer for him. Howard looks at the expectation of suffering/persecution of believers. Distortion/crackling throughout. Cassette label reads : "'Letters to the seven churches in the book of Revelation' Smyrna: 'Toughing it out' Donald Howard Camden Bible talks Recorded at Camden Civic Centre, 5 March 2003"
