Photograph’s caption from the book "Images of America: Ensley and Tuxedo Junction": “This 1940s photograph feature the original Pike Avenue Baptist Church in Ensley. All of the women and children attending vacation Bible school gathered in front of the old frame Church. At the time, sue Hardy Thomas, a resident of Ensley, was 15 years old. She had many relatives who worked for TCI.”
