Sermon on Psalm 45 on the theme of the heart. At the centre of the celebratory Psalm of the Sons of Korah is the king of Israel in the context of a marriage ceremony. Reflecting upon the God-instituted rule and reign of the contemporary ruler, the Psalmist reflects upon the eternal everlasting throne and rule of God. There is an organic connection between the event celebrated by the Psalmist and the rule of Christ today. At the heart of the gospel involves the king and the king’s marriage. The call to ministry, is a call to those whose hearts are filled with a similar noble theme regarding the king and his relationship with his people. The Psalmist's emotions and feelings are conducted in a clear and understandable way to others. For the minister today, the overflow of one's heart must be clear, striking, and memorable rather than incoherent.
