Description
  • Stephen De Staebler's Winged Figure (1993) was a gift to the Graduate Theological Union on the occasion on its 30th anniversary and the inauguration of its fifth president, Glenn R. Bucher. De Staebler had hoped for a number of years to contribute a sculpture to the campus. The bronze figure is placed at the center of the Flora Lamson Hewlett Library on top of a 25 foot column.
