Description
  • Raiter preaches on the topic of worldly Christianity based on Acts 4:34-5:11. Barnabas' generosity is contrasted with the ungodly motivations of Ananias and Sapphira. Through their sinful action, Ananias and Sapphira test the Lord, revealing their unbelief and mistrust in God's power and care. When the grave nature of the sin is revealed, the judgement of the couple is understood to reflect the gravity of the action. Today, we are warned to not test the Lord like Ananias and Sapphira.
