Description
  • Irvine looks at the history of the homogeneous unit principle, which was developed in India by Mcgavern because people come to Christ within their social/caste groups, rather then in a situation that causes a fall in caste. Irvine shows how we apply this principle within our churches in Australia. Irvine looks at the context for passages that people use when considering church growth. He looks at how people try to reconcile the homogeneous unit principle with the Bible. Talk is followed by questions. Cassette label reads : "Biblical foundations for church growth Rod Irvine (3) 30.9.93 Robert Menzies College School of Christian Studies"
