  • Chapple considers the time for discerning, and how much is enough, and how people come to understand. Chappel illustrates this with the healing of the blind and deaf man. Discussion of the ways Jesus reveals himself to the crowds, Pharasees and to the disciples, and why people don't respond. Chappel introduces the idea that Jesus has to die. He analyses Peter's actions. Discussion of the difference between being a fan and being a disciple of Jesus.
