Description
  • Windsor explores the lack of impact of the gospel in England. He shows that we very rearely hear preaching on hope, and that there is a disappearance of hope in Western Culture. Windsor highlights that people are looking for hope and thus look elsewhere, when the Bible says so much about hope. He places 1 Peter in it's first-century context. He explores and explains the hope that has come through the resurrection of Jesus. Windsor explores how both the Resurrection and return of Christ are the key markers of history. He thus examines the importance of waiting. Windsor stresses that there is certainty of getting through the fire, and that this refines our faith. He looks at other writings where trials and failures refine us. Windsor explores our final hope, the salvation of our souls. Cassette label reads : "The human story…where are we going?
