  • Volume 1: Gospels Volume 2: Acts - Ephesians English title in manuscript at end of v. 1. In Chinese characters in Easy Wenli. Printed on one side of the paper only and bound in Chinese style. Darlow & Moule state of a related edition: "A preliminary note states that 'The Executive Committee appointed by the General Conference of 1890 ... [with] the London Religious Tract Society and the American Tract Society elected a committee of seven to prepare an annotated Bible in Chinese' ... The seven elected editors were A.P. Parker, H.V. Noyes, Ll. Lloyd, Wm. Muirhead, H.C. Du Bose, C.J. Voskamp, and John Ross. ... In 1899 the Chinese Tract Society published at Shanghai an annotated edition of the N.T." This work seems to be that 1899 annotated edition.
