  • From the March 22, 1968, issue of the Crimson: "Alpha Delta Pi used Panama hats, white gloves and red dresses to create a prize-winning effect as a medley of 'Songs of the South' was presented. As the group sang 'Stars Fell on Alabama' a Confederate flag was formed, and the effect was completed by singing 'Dixie.'"
