From the May 5, 1969, issue of the Crimson: "Second place in the Greek division went to Pi Kappa Phi for a presentation centered on the theme of love. Directed by Tommy Helton, the Pi Kapp expressed a firm belief in the power of love with 'Love, This Is My Song.' Love often brings with it symptoms like 'Fever' or a sad parting as in 'Softly As I Leave You.' A drum roll announces 'Love Is A Many Splendored Thing' closing the Pi Kapp portion of the program. Narrator was Jim Daley."
