Description
  • As sovereign ruler, God’s promises to provide for all those who seek His Kingdom first. As a triune God, personal relationships lays at the heart of eternal reality. God being other person centred finds its ultimate fulfilment in the sending of Jesus. Jesus wants everyone to make the sovereign will of God primary in life. If we do so, God promises to look after us. God is gracious and is willing to receive all who return to Him. To seek first God’s rule means that we are to make God’s Kingdom the priority in our time and thoughts. If we ignore this fact, we will find ourselves living within a world that isn’t true. If we respond, our relationship with God is made complete. God must come first in how we use our time. For parents, time should be spent teaching children the whole counsel of God. Prayer should be of the highest priority; through prayer, we fellowship and partner with God to accomplish His purposes and seek the Kingdom. In the Scriptures, we are guided how to pray and live. Witnessing to others about Jesus is the method through which God extends His Kingdom. Finally, we seek God’s Kingdom through obedience as we serve one another, adopting an attitude of other person centredness.
