Description
  • Stott speaks on Genesis 1:1-25. He explores the pre-suppositions that we bring to Genesis. He shows that the purpose of Genesis is to reveal religious truths about God, and not scientific truths. Stott gives an overview of Genesis 1, and that it describes earth in primeval chaos. 1. God created. 2. The world was made from chaos 3. Man was made in God's image and is the summit of creation. We thus have a unique obligation to worship God. Box label reads : "Genesis . Stott Tape 1 ch. 1:1-25 Dr Pippett" Keswick convention
