• Reid gives an introduction to David's life from 1 Samuel 16:1-13. He looks at the anointing of David to be King. Reid looks at what and how David, and we, hear God's calling. Reid explores how God equips his people with spiritual gifts, including occassions when they are given in the Old Testament, and that they are poured out at Pentecost. Reid examines the conflict between David and Goliath, including Saul's response to Goliath. He examines some of the sections of this passage that we find hard to understand.
