• Kivengere reflects on the political situation in Uganda, including the effect that this has on the local church. He gives an example of a local bishop who had recently died - both his actions which led to his death, and the response of the church in Uganda. He highlights the growth of the local church, and then shares the persecution that they face. Kivengere shares some of the challenges faced by professional Ugandans, especially doctors and teachers. He explains that this is a space that the church can witness in. Kivengere stresses that the resurrection must bring optimising to the churches.
