  • John E. Huseman, SJ, (1918 - 2002), professor of sacred scripture, taught for 40 years at Alma college and then at Jesuit School of Theology, retiring in 1989. Following his ordination as a priest he obtained a PhD. in Semitic Studies at Johns Hopkins University and pursued further studies at the Pontificio Istituto Biblico in Rome. He participated in many archaeological excavations, published many articles and served as President of the Catholic Biblical Association.
