Description
  • Duncan challenges the idea that Christian statements have no meaning. He looks at the difference between imperical statements, and why the statements around Christ are not imperical. Duncan explores how believers show what Christian statements mean, especially looking at the type of language used in each statement. Duncan shows that Christian statements were not made within a world of eternal reason, and should not be viewed in this way. He shows that the real problem of Christian statements is that they are unfamiliar to the world - it can not be produced or compared to other statements. Reel label reads : "Expository preaching IVGF #11 Dr C Duncan 10.9.61"
