Description
  • Perkins speaks on Hebrews rew 5:11-6:20. He looks at the danger of not maturing in our Christian life. Perkins looks at three groups of people : 1. Those who have failed to move on to Christian maturity - move on from the shadow of Judaism to maturity in Jesus 2. Those who go backwards in the Christian life - seem to belong to a church yet they turn their back on Jesus. 3. Those who are lazy and don't carry the cost, and thus leave when things get hard. Perkins stresses that God is faithful, and thus if we continue in Christ he will not abandon us. He shows that moving to believing enables us to stand firm in faith, but that this is not possible unless we are trusting in Jesus.
