• Robinson recounts his visitto the Middle East, including speaking to church, religious and political leaders in light of the Gulf War, and how this affected the growth of Islam. Robinson explores the theological differences between Islam and Christianity, and the relationship between the two historically. He shares his interactions with the Grand Mufti, including the invite to address the congregation at the mosque. Robinson looks at the Muslim understanding of the significane of their own faith. Video on the history of Islam and outreach to muslims is played. Bales explores folk or popular Islam, including the understanding of the spirit world, and working through holy things or people, because God is tohught to be unknowable.
