  • 1939 photograph of the Claiborne Masonic Lodge where Marquis de Lafayette visited in 1825. The lodge was later moved to the nearby community of Perdue Hill. Handwritten on the back of the photograph: "The masonic home where LaFayette was entertained at a dance in Claiborne. It was the 3rd chapter to get organized in the state. Aug 1939."
