  • Some of these burning martyrs extend their hands before them, and others fold or cross their hands in front of them. The martyrs are clothed. This woodcut appears twice in the second edition (1570) to illustrate the burning of George Catmer, Robert Streater, Anthony Burward, George Brodbridge, and James Tuttye (at Canterbury) (sig.
