- The Old Water Wheel. This picturesque old water wheel is a relic of the time before the introduction of modern improvements. It is in the grounds of the Convent of the Visitation, and was formerly used to supply the convent with water before the establishment of the Mobile water-works. It is preserved to give an additional interest to an already beautiful scene.
