• Hendry Wan, interviewed for the OCF Heritage Project, shares his journey from Kuala Lumpur to Newcastle and Sydney for university. He joined Overseas Christian Fellowship (OCF), serving as Press Secretary (1991) and OCF Australia EXCO Chair (1992). He helped revise the OCF Handbook, led Bible studies, and mentored students. Influenced by Lindsey Robertson, Brian Dylan, David Cook, and Andrew Reid, he emphasizes OCF’s role in leadership training and ministry preparation. After graduation, he remained in Sydney, planting three churches and applying skills honed in OCF. He encourages students to use OCF as a training ground for lifelong ministry.
