19th Street looking north. Camera was on 19th between 1st and 2nd Avenue. Florence Hotel is on the left. Across from Florence was Peerless Saloon. A famous saloon. Further to the left is the old First Methodist Church on the S.W. corner of 4th Avenue and 19th Street. This is also where the Hillman Hotel (1957) was. After the church moved and before the Hillman Hotel was erected, the old church building was used by the Y.M.C.A. The fountain is in the center of 2nd Avenue and 19th Street and was later removed to Capital Park.
