He looks at the style of Peter's writing. Griffiths explores how to repond to suffering, including both everyday and persecution. He looks at the need to answer in court. Griffiths compares the suffering described here with Christ's suffering. Griffiths looks at some of the challenging verses in this chapter, with reference to related passages from the Old Testament.
