• Reid examines the physical illustration given to Jeremiah to communicate God's warning of judgement in Jeremiah 18. He shows that this points to God's sovereignty. This includes the freedom of God to turn around and go another way should the situation changes, and how the prophets responded to this. Reid applies this to what this teaches us about God, which remains applicable for a contemporary audience. He supports this with New Testament passages. CMS Summer School tape 2 - talk 4 on Jeremiah.
