Interview of Hudson Baggett on November 12, 1985. The interview was conducted by Kevin Purta. Hudson Baggett enrolled at Howard College as a religion major in 1941. In June 1942, Baggett enlisted as a private in the U.S. Army. After the war, Baggett returned to Howard College where he became involved in various student activities. Baggett later became a professor of English and Religion at Howard College. In 1966 he became editor of The Alabama Baptist newspaper. In the interview Baggett discusses his early childhood, his experiences as a student and professor at Howard College, and his role as editor of The Alabama Baptist newspaper.
