- Robinson opens the service and welcomes the congregation. Ford speak on Mark 3:13ff. He looks at Jesus' purpose of bringing restoration to those he calls. Ford looks at the purpose and role of the church of calling people to Christ, explaining that this is also the purpose of a cathedral - to be a gathering place for the people of God, to call people to Christ, and to be equipped to call people to Christ. 1.
