Foxe replaces the traditional Saints' calendar with this iconoclastic calendar, which celebrates the deaths of Protestant and proto-Protestant martyrs. He includes columns for the year and day of each martyr's death. The calendar is printed in red and black ink and appears only in the first (1563) and fourth (1583) editions.
