  • Beard explores how important Christ is to the Colossians and our lives. He works through Colossians 2:6-23, warning against false teachers, and instead to focus on Christ because the fulness of God is in him, and his fulness is in us. Beard encourages his listeners to focus on their unity, both with one another and with Christ. They are told to focus on their forgiveness provided in Christ. Beard explores the authorities that people use to understand the world, and that the Bible is the ultimate authority.
