  • Nichols looks at how people respond to suffering when we live without God. She looks at how we can say about suffering, especially that which is created by man. Nichols looks at the practical response of Christians to suffering, knowing that God is compassionate. Nichols reminds the audience that the sinfulness of the human heart is the source of suffering. She examines the account of Joseph, and then the teaching for believers living this side of the cross. Nichols looks at resonding to the suffering of the innocent.
